Go over the shop page sections available for GoCentral Online Store. Shop page sections and features are not influenced by theme choice. They remain the same and can be added to all GoCentral Online Store themes without any visible differences.

Product Display

Shop Page Layout

There is a singular section for the main shop page layout called "Online Store", with different numbers of columns. The Online Store section must be placed on a page for shop items to populate in - this section cannot be placed on a site in more than one area. The main shop page and Online Store section can be hidden if shop functionality is not being used.

Layout includes: shop page title, option to "shrink to fit" or "expand to fill" product thumbnail images, option to choose how to display products (most popular, newest, by name or price), and the option to choose how many products display per page

  • If 12 products display per page, the shop will adjust to a 3 column layout
  • If 16 products display per page, the shop will adjust to a 4 column layout
  • If 20 products display per page, the shop will adjust to a 5 column layout

Featured Products

Only one layout option for featured products - it can be placed more than once on different pages of a site if needed. 

Layout includes: featured products section title and the option to "shrink to fit" or "expand to fill" product thumbnail images
Featured Products
  • Showcase up to 12 products in featured section
  • Products included in "featured" must be assigned in the store back-end
  • The order in which the featured products appear can be altered by dragging the featured products added in the back-end in the preffered sequence

Product Categories

Featured Categories Section

There's only one layout option, but two different ways to categorize products when the links are clicked

  • 6 maximum category item limit per each featured categories section
  • Each category item has fields for: title, description, and drop down to select the category to which it should link
  • The dropdown to select link will contain all product categories created in the shop back-end and can be linked as seen in layout 1
  • The dropdown to select link will also contain all product categories automatically generated from sorting products by interaction as seen in layout 2: newest, most popular, best value

Services & Bookings

Online Appointments

The Online Appointments feature lets you specify what times your services are available. That makes it easy for your customers to book an appointment right on your website. You can list multiple services, set a price for each, and decide whether customers pay ahead of time or at the time of service.

2 layout options include: section title and link to manage appointments - this section cannot be placed on a site in more than one area as seen with the products section

  • Services must be added in the shop back-end as seen with products, to show up in the "online appointments" section
  • Layout 1 card view - 3 column layout with tabs ro switch between categories
  • Layout 2 list view - single column layout with all bookable events and services in a list feed format
