I did not test the functionality of this snippet as I was successful replicating this functionality with approved plugins.

The same functionality of this snippet can be gained by using the approved Smart Coupons plugin to automatically apply a percentage-based discount based on the cart total. We can use Beaver Builder to add conditional alerts to the cart and checkout pages. We can use Beaver Builder module conditional display settings to only display the module with the alert if the cart total is under the desired threshold.

Now that we have approved plugins providing this functionality the snippet is retired.
